UKPicks publishes independent buying guides for UK shoppers. Every guide is researched with British conditions in mind — CE marking requirements, UK voltage standards (230V/50Hz), local retailer availability, and the specific demands of British weather and home layouts.
What problem we solve
Most buying guide sites are written for the US market and lightly adapted for the UK. Product names change, prices are converted, but the underlying research does not account for what is actually available at Currys, John Lewis, or Amazon UK — or whether a product carries proper UK certification.
UKPicks starts from the UK market. We check real Amazon.co.uk listings, verify stock at major UK retailers, and flag products that lack UK-appropriate certification.
